The undersigned emphasize that these actions mirror ISIS’s strategies to displace Christians and seize their properties. They demand the revocation of the decree, protection for Patriarch Sako, restoration of seized properties, and government accountability for safeguarding religious minorities. The statement affirms solidarity with Patriarch Sako and Iraq’s Christians in their fight for religious freedom and citizenship rights.
